RTLS Localization Server
The Localization server is a software application, installed on a dedicated machine. Depending on the system size and required uptime, the software can be installed on a small box PC, or on a dedicated server unit.
Localization server recieves the data from the Tags after it was recieved and forwarded by the Anchors and processes it to provide real-time location coordinates.
The server hosts the web application, which is used to visualise the location of the tags on a map, as well as to manage the tags and anchors. The web application can be accessed from any device with a web browser, such as a desktop computer, laptop, tablet or smartphone.
Written in Rust
Rust is a systems programming language compiled to machine code for maximum performance. Thanks to real multithreading and Rust’s low-overhead design, the server runs extremely fast and remains lightweight even under heavy load.
Stateless Architecture
The server follows a stateless architecture not only at the system level but also within its internal threads. Each thread handles requests independently, without shared state, enabling true parallelism and making the system highly scalable and resilient under load.
Vertically & Horizontally scalable
Vertical scaling means it can take advantage of more powerful hardware—like additional CPU cores or memory—to boost performance.
Horizontal scaling allows multiple server instances to run in parallel, distributing the load efficiently across machines or containers for greater throughput and high availability.

Server Types
TagTrack is designed to be flexible and scalable, whether you're starting small or planning a large deployment. You can run the entire system on a compact box PC, perfect for proof-of-concept installations or small-scale environments. This setup is included in our Getting Started Kit, making it easy to test and evaluate the system right away. As your needs grow, you can simply add another box PC or upgrade to a more robust setup.
For larger installations, the localization server can be deployed on a standard server unit, mounted in a server rack alongside your existing infrastructure. This allows for better performance, higher availability, and easier integration with enterprise systems. Whether you're scaling horizontally by adding more units or vertically with more powerful hardware, TagTrack adapts to your setup without requiring major changes.

- 3D Tags Location Use our advanced localization algorithm for finding the X,Y,Z coordinates of a tag.
- Realtime Filtering Use lag free filters for position coordinates.
- Kalman Filtering Use extended and unscented Kalman filters for precies tag coordinates with error less than 10 cm. This approag causes a second delay in the position coordinates
- Update Anchors Firmware Always be at the cutting edge technology by installing the latest firmware from the server.
- Automated Coordinate system User the build in functionality of the server to determine the positions of each Anchor without the need from any input.
